This 14 days tour starts in the fantastic, exotic city of Bangkok, we stay in a hotel in the city centre. We visit the Grand Palace one of the greatest buildings in the world, we go to China Town to see the Golden Buddha, over 5 tons of solid gold! We cruise the great Chao Phraya river, we go shopping in night markets and experience Bangkok’s incredible nighttime entertainments.
Re-connect with your spiritual side and immerse yourself in something wonderful.
We move out of the city to a quiet rural village near Ratchaburi, north-west of Bangkok and stay at a peaceful luxury resort on the canal, surrounded by authentic Thailand. We visit the local temple and get blessed by the Monks, we travel down the canal on a 100-year-old teak wood boat to visit the world-famous floating market.
Sun, Sea, Sand & Sin
Next, we head for Bang Saray, an amazing luxury resort in a quiet village on the beach, just half an hour from Pattaya City. We relax around the beautiful swimming pool, we visit the local beaches and we visit several incredible local tourist attractions, were we meet Tigers, Elephants, Moneys and so much more.
We go down the road to the amazing entertainment city of Pattaya Beach, for those that want to go to Sin City for amazing shopping or experience the famous nightlife.
Arriving in Bangkok. You’ll transfer to your hotel and meet your Travel Co-ordinator and fellow guests for a welcome dinner. Hotel: Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit (5 star).
The second day sets a leisurely pace while getting our adventure underway.
Rise in time for a delicious Buffet Breakfast (daily in Bangkok) at the Marriot Hotel after which a telecommunications specialist will visit the hotel to provide everyone with their communication needs for the trip.
A quick relax by the pool, then it’s on to the Baiyok Sky Resturant where the 87th floor provides some of the tastiest food combined with the best views of Bangkok. Some shopping and attractions follow at Aisa Tique Riverfront Market.
A relaxing dinner then back to the hotel.
After breakfast we travel around one and a half hours from the modem day capital of Thailand to the former capital from centuries past.
We will visit some of Thailand’s most ancient ruins and working monastery.
During all this activity, a delicious lunch will be provided. The evening with be a night of leisure or an opportunity to explore.
We start the day with a visit to The Grand Palace. Home to centuries of Thai Kings, The Grand Palace is a kaleidoscope of architecture, riches and style.
A rest afternoon (with options) follows to prepare for a magical Dinner cruise down the Chao Phraya River. Feast and take in Bangkok by night as you are entertained by talented musicians.
On the way to our rural retreat (designed around the needs to the mobility impaired) we’ll visit “The Golden Buddha”.
This 5.5 tonne statue was disguised in concrete for centuries before being rediscovered! A welcome dinner party will be held in the hall with a thai band and some karaoke.
Breakfast first and then it’s all aboard our accessible river cruiser and on to the world famous floating markets of Thailand. Eat, shop, mingle with exotic animals and more. After lunch we head through the canals to the Meh Kong river.
The return trip includes dinner on board and a river sunset.
In essence, a rest day. Today you can just laze around within the resort and recharge. However, if resting is not your aim a variety of options will be available, such as massages, cooking lessons, fishing and more on offer.
Dinner will be provided at the resort.
Today features something unique to Anywhere On Wheels. The local Buddhist temple comprises a working monastery and museum.
They have invited our guests to spend the morning with them learning about and experiencing genuine Buddhist culture. After lunch we will take a bus tour of some local sights.
Today we will travel to Bangsaray (outside Pattaya) to another modern accessible resort. On the way we will see the world in miniature.
Mini Siam features small scale landmarks from Thailand and the world.
These include the Grand Palace, Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera House, Statue of David and 100’s more. After traversing our mini world it’s on to the resort for a dip in the pool and a welcome BBQ to remember! Entertainment provided.
Today is the day most often voted as the best by our travellers.
We spend a whole day at Nong Nooch Garden.
A 600 acre playground filled with gardens, culture shows, tigers, elephants, exotic cars, great food and even dinosaurs. This is a truly spectacular day! Dinner will be provided back at the resort!
A relaxed, yet eventful day starts with breakfast and some Thai cooking lessons.
The results of which will be packed into a picnic hamper for our picnic lunch in the picturesque grounds of ‘The Mountain Buddha’ a mountain sized Buddha that was once a quarry.
The afternoon is filled with the options of fishing or massage.
Tonight we can choose between the night life of Pattaya or shopping.
Breakfast. Then on to a truly unique experience.
Skipper your own accessible sailing boat in the beautiful waters of Thailand. Supervising co-captain provided! (Options available).
A day at the beach will wind down the pace ready for our trip home.
Activities included swimming, sunbathing, beach massages and more. Then on to our farewell dinner in a restaurant on a boardwalk suspend- ed over the ocean.
Travel back to Bangkok. Lunch and last minute shopping, then it’s farewell to exotic Thailand and we’re homeward bound.
